| People come into Dexter's and ask us why we have a San Diego Padres disk hanging on our wall. This disk is part of Philadelphia Sports History. It used to hang on the left field wall at Veteran's Stadium. In 1993 the wooden version of the sign was taken down and replaced with a vinyl sign. The entire San Diego Padres team signed the disk and it was placed in storage until the last year of the Vet. It was purchased at the Phillies annual carnival and auction and now hangs on the wall at Dexter's on the 5. We also have a wide variety of other sports memorabilia on our walls, including a game-worn Charles Barkley Jersey with the #32, in honor of Magic Johnson. |
